Do you remember the Tom Hanks movie, Forrest Gump? There is a Forrest-Gump-themed restaurant in Lahaina called Bubba Gumps Shrimp Co., specializing in shrimp. It is one of Sig's favorite restaurants. It being Father's Day, he got to choose our dinner plans, and Bubba Gump's was on the menu.

Bubba Gump's on Lahaina's Front Street |
It is located on Front Street in Lahaina. Our favorite place to park is to drive through Lahaina almost to the Sugar Cane Train. Turn left onto Papalaua Street and turn into the parking lot right after Hilo Hatties (Lahaina Center). Take your parking stub with you and remember to get it stamped at, say, Bubba Gump's or any of the shops in Lahaina Center for two hours' free parking. Then stroll up and down Front Street and surrounds and see what you find.
Bubba Gump's is right on Front Street (near Lahaina Center) and the building is built around a Monkey Pod tree. The restaurant is on stilts over the ocean.
