Hansen Road (the road by the Sugar Mill which allows you to bypass Kahului to Hana Hwy) has been closed for the past 10 months for widening and repaving). Our family called this road 'bumpy road', we used to enjoy riding down it while singing 'ahhhh' and listening to eachothers' voices warble (okay, is it just our family that does this?).
This Saturday it reopened! The County had a blessing ceremony and then allowed those who wanted to ride bikes, run and walk along the walk. I look forward to driving the new road!!
