Have you ever been to a hula competition? Me neither.... Once a year one of the TV stations broadcast the Merrie Monarch hula competition, and I must say, I enjoy watching.
Guess what - we have our own hula competition here on Maui, Ku Mai Ka Hula, and it's coming up at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center, September 10-12. The solo competitions are on September 11th, group competitions on September 12th. Check here for tickets and more information!
