Hurricane Iselle and Julio update

I am very pleased to tell you that in Kihei Iselle was a non-event. We had .3 inches of rain, no wind. However, other parts of Maui had significant rain and wind with power outages. Big Island definitely took the brunt of the storm as Iselle stalled there and began to fall apart. This morning's announcement is that Iselle is no longer a tropical storm.

Now we have Hurricane Julio approaching, scheduled to pass by us Sunday morning. Currently the forecast path takes Julio nicely to the north of Hawai'i. Hopefully that forecast stays correct, which we're told would mean mainly rain and humidity for us. This is just a forecast though, so please check the news as we get closer.
