ahhh.... I was serenaded by Tony Bennett last night... well, I and the Castle Theater full of people! Tony Bennett has always been a favorite of mine, and when we had an email alert from the Maui Arts and Cultural Center (MACC) that he was coming to town, Sig scored HUGE brownie points by suggesting we go!
Tony Bennett - is he still singing? Is he still alive? Yes, these are questions my friends and family asked. He is very much alive, 87 years old and touring together with his daughter Antonia Bennett.
And he finished the concert with two of my most favorite songs - the old Charlie Chaplin tune 'Smile' and 'Fly me to the Moon'. I'll be smiling for a few days now!
