Twice a day the Maui Ocean Center has naturalists enter their 'open ocean' aka shark tank to talk about sharks. It's really quite interesting - if you're going, make sure you're there either at 11am or 3pm to see this.
During the '12 days of Fishmas' they are sending Santa Clause into the shark tank, at 11am and 1pm (an elf goes in at 3pm). We went to check it out...

Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas! |
Cue Jaws theme song |
ah - get away from me, you spotted sting ray! |
the narrating naturalist remains oddly calm throughout |
no... no... noooooo! |
the tiger shark begins to circle Santa |
Santa spots the tiger shark and decides it's time to swim back to arctic waters! |
Disclaimer, no marine life (and no Santa) was hurt during this photo shoot. Santa was actually feeding the sting ray (not being attacked). You will notice, Santa's lost some weight! All that scuba diving is doing him good!
